Our school has joined this project where we want to allow small home orphanage and poor children in central Kenya to get the school bus they need.
In the wild African missions, away from asphalt, good roads and urbanization, there is a small home and a large school for disadvantaged, sick and poor children, who despite all achieving excellent results on official state exams. The school bus in Kenya is part of the school equipment and must be ordered at a factory in the city of Nakuru that produces vehicles adapted to local conditions, since the Lower Subukia valley has no asphalt, and transport conditions are particularly heavy during the rainy season. The price of such a bus is approx. 70 000 euros. That is how the idea of "70 x1" was born, in which 70 schools from the Republic of Croatia collected a one thousand euro gift and thus helped the peers who receive education in difficult conditions. For an average school it means a donation of 15 kn. Per student. By participating in this action we do a great and noble work.
Thank you very much to all who have contributed to this humanitarian action.
