A workshop and lecture "Head in the Clouds" was held in our school as part of the international project GeoNight 2022 with the aim of popularizing geography.
Participants in lectures, workshops and photo competitions were students of the Ante Kuzmanić Medical School Zadar and the Šime Budinić Elementary School Zadar. Lecture, workshop and photo competition on the topic "Head in the Clouds" according to GLOBE protocols were held by geography professors Marijana Škunca-Vrkić and Zrinka Klarin.
Students were previously given the task to photograph the clouds, whose photos are posted in the digital tool Creator, which you can view at the following link: https://read.bookcreator.com/ztCEYOZDSyX5NBdYkg5sfkGNF9k2/KjPmX-uQT5CQe0L5M-0LoA.
The best photos collected in the photo competition, which were selected through a survey by students of several grades, were placed on the school board.
The aim of the project is to raise awareness of the importance of geography in education and in the daily lives of students. Encourage students' creativity and use of digital tools and the correlation of geography with extracurricular activities - GLOBE.
