The principal of our school, Anita Basioli, and teachers Milena Modrić, Marija Kresoja and Jelena Kevrić spent a three-day visit to Hildesheim and Alfeld. The purpose of the working visit was to agree on a possible framework for Erasmus and other projects in cooperation with the Ameos group. On the first day of our stay in Hildesheim and Alfeld, we visited AMEOS Klinikum Hildesheim, a psychiatric clinic, and AMEOS Klinikum Alfeld, a general hospital. During the tour, our friendly hosts Andy Shutz and Fabian Barenbruch introduced us to the healthcare system in Germany. The second day of the working visit was reserved for a tour of the medical school within the AMEOS Klinikum Hildesheim and familiarization with the way nurses are educated in Germany. After visiting the school, it was time to agree on further cooperation, and a return visit of our hosts was agreed upon, and soon after, an exchange of students as part of the Erasmus project, as well as cooperation through the E-medica project.
