A lecture will be held at the Ante Kuzmanić Medical School in Zadar on Wednesday, March 6, 2022, at 5 pm, starting the cooperation between our school and the company Lola Ribar dd, as part of the project "How to improve wound healing".
The lecture will be held for the purpose of continuous training on the role of supportive dressings for the healing of chronic wounds. Chronic and acute infected wounds can be a major clinical problem due to complications and slow healing. In addition to classic wound care products, a whole range of modern dressings for the treatment of chronic wounds is available on the market. Classical materials, such as gauze and bandages, are now considered obsolete, ie they have only historical significance, because in practice modern materials are used in wound care and treatment and provide optimal conditions for wound healing, such as moisture, temperature and appropriate pH. The lecture was approved as a professional training by the Croatian Chamber of Nurses and will be scored accordingly.
