We started celebrating this event on October 29 by making posters dedicated to the Month of Croatian Books, writers and works of Croatian literature made by 1st c and 2nd a grade students under the mentorship of Croatian language teacher Josip Bačić. The posters were placed on a billboard in the school’s entrance hall on November 9th.
We carried out the final activities on November 12 in the 2nd grade in which the librarian Tanja Serdarević introduced the students to the history and goals of the event, after which the students Anabela Rados, Petra Marasović Smokrović, Toni Korda, Ivano Filipović, Lana Blaić, Lana Jurić and Moorea Lapčić read the title and the first six sentences of Zoran Ferić's short story "Run the Doctor". Students were prepared to read the text by Croatian language teacher Tamara Perković.
