Presentation of the monograph "Croatian Medical Services in the Serbian-Montenegrin aggression against the Republic of Croatia"

Presentation of the monograph was held in the Conference Hall 23.05.2016.godine University of Zadar. Students 3a, 3b and 4b class with their teacher Anita Raljević Špralja, Sonja Šare and a retired teacher and a witness to war Borka Potočnjak attended the lectures, which describe the organization and functioning of certain war hospitals, medical service in military hospitals and ambulance MUP and cooperation with ambulance HVO in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The book was presented by Prof.. Ph. D.. Dijana Vican, Rector of the University; prof. Ph. D.. Marjan Klarica, dr. Med., Dean of the Medical Faculty in Zagreb, reviewer; Academician Jerolimov Vjekoslav, the author of the chapter; doc. Ph. D.. Zlatko Begonja, Department of History, University of Zadar; prim. mr. sc. Mile Gverić, PhD., MD., Author of the chapter; doc. Ph. D.. Peter V. Lozo, PhD., MD., Department of Health Studies, University of Zadar, President of the Branch Medical Association Zadar and co-author of the chapter; prof. Ph. D.. Andrija Hebrang, PhD., MD., Chief editor of the monograph; and Anđa Raić, prof., on behalf of the publisher.
The book is a valuable document of the heroic times and the great effort that the Croatian doctors and nurses passed in the years to create a state. Furthermore, a valuable clue to all generations of the sacrifice of health care professionals.
