We are pleased to inform you that the Chronicle of the Chronic Wound, published by the Agency for Vocational and Adult Education and published by the Ante Kuzmanić Zadar School of Medicine, is published in the publication of the Slap Foundation.

Chronic wounds, their diagnosis and treatment are a great challenge to the general population, both to patients and their families, to nurses and doctors.

In the Croatian literature we can find only a small number of manuals and textbooks that talk about chronic wounds and state-of-the-art knowledge about diagnostics and treatment, and we must emphasize that the psychological effect of chronic wounds on patients is almost completely neglected.

The manual is summarized from the recent domestic and foreign literature, numerous articles, textbooks and manuals so that in one place what is most important for the patient is found. The most up-to-date knowledge in the field of diagnosis, treatment and health care of patients with chronic wound are included.

This handbook is primarily intended for young generations, high school nursing students, and nursing students, just those who are first facing the problem of chronic wounds. This guide is intended for nurses and technicians who have worked for many years and would like to update their knowledge and acquire new insights in this field. It is also suitable for family doctors, just those who have complete insight into their patient's condition and who know what's best for him or her.
